A Romantic nature with a cynical mind

''A romantic is a person who believes in romanticism, which is like a philosophy on life. Romantics love nature, old things like castles and churches, love poetry and beauty, and have a tendency to get carried away by ideas. This can be both bad and good, as most of the original romantics stood up for their beliefs and greatly helped their country, but also went to help people in revolutions and got killed. They also tend to get randomly depressed, but this is because the weather and colors and beautiful things make them act differently than others.''

''Romanticism was a reaction against the order and restraint of classicism and neoclassicism, and a rejection of the rationalism which characterized the Enlightenment.''

The romantic nature that gives you the ability to see the world in a magical, wonderful way.
And your life's experiences that have given you a very different way to see others.
Even though you can be seduced by the beauty of small details and minor things, you do not go out looking for them as you do not expect to find them.
Even though you want to believe in people and give them a chance to amaze you, it comes as no surprise when they fail you.
'Everyone has an agenda'. Sadly, it is true. Every time you forget this, life makes sure to remind you of it in the most cynical ways.
And yet, there are people who are pure, innocent, genuinely good hearted, amazingly charming.
But shhh... don't let anyone see that you are a romantic indeed... They might try to fool you and use this against you, proving that your cynical mind is right.
Learn your lesson, find your balance. Let your romantic side form your dreams and your cynical mind form your expectations. You might be positively impressed!

Chameleon People

They are everywhere and they are nowhere.
They look like anyone and are like no one.
They know a few things about a lot of things, but not a lot of things about one thing.
They are interested in everything, but passionate about nothing.
They could be doing anything, but specialise in nothing.
If the world was black and white, they would still be grey.
They adjust in any environment and circumstances, but not for too long.
They can be close to someone, but not too close.
And the only way to see their true colours is if you stick around long enough for them to feel comfortable with you.
The life of the Chameleon People is not at all easy or simple...
